Only 244 improved Mark2 versions of the DB6 were made and this car was the 12th last car to be constructed. In fact, this also made it the 12th last car of the iconic DB series commencing with the DB4 in 1958.

Delivered new on 19/1/1971 in Glamorgan UK to D. David and Sons . On 22/9/1976 the car was purchased by AMOC member Peter Yelden who brought the car with him when he moved to Australia in 1984. He sold the car in October 1985 to an owner in Adelaide.

In 1987 we purchased the car and sold it to a Melbourne MD .

Retaining the matching numbers it was decided to undertake a full restoration which was undertaken by Bentleigh Motorworks / AM Distributors over a 2 year period from 1997 until 1999.

The restoration included the upgrade to the correct ZF 5 speed manual gearbox ,... [prev automatic], a complete engine rebuild, back to bare metal body restoration and full re trim with Connolly leather. The Aston was then so good the owner was concerned about using it, so we again sold the car on 26/6/2000 to the last owner who has cherished the car over the past 25 years.

Included with the car is the original UK log book, large receipt and invoice files together with all the handbooks manuals and sales brochure for the model. This would have to be one of the finest DB6 cars in the country , and with a fully verifiable history mainly with only 3 long term owners.
